This session deviates from the typical workshop format so that students can hear about the music school admissions process from the faculty who watch the audition tapes. The session will start with an overview of the admissions and scholarships process from a CCM faculty member. Afterwards, Cadence Okuwobi will provide a quick synopsis of local music schools and the top music schools nationally, with their pros, cons, and student reviews. The session will conclude with a Zoom panel featuring jazz faculty members from schools nationwide, where students, parents, and guardians can ask questions.
